About Basel.
Basel, the hub of north-western Switzerland, will host the International CAMLOG Congress 2008 from May 9 to 10. Special to Basel, and in fact truly different from other cities, is its position in the so-called ‘Dreiländereck’, the triangle formed by the three countries of Switzerland, Germany and France. Basel successfully and uniquely unites international flair with small-town charm and a special esprit nowhere else to be found.

Thanks to the high quality of its infrastructure and the presence of Switzerland’s largest trade fair and congress company – MCH Messe Schweiz –, Basel every year holds internationally renowned congresses and trade fairs such as ‘Baselworld’, watches and jewellery, and ‘Art Basel’, the world's premier modern and contemporary art fair.
We take advantage of this excellent positioning for our International CAMLOG Congress 2008.

Congress Center Basel
Visitors to Basel find an impressive variety of high-standard hotels, restaurants and leisure opportunities within the city.
Basel houses several well-known museums, some of them not only famous for their impressive collections but also for their architectural significance, namely the ‘Fondation Beyeler’ in Riehen near Basel and the ‘Tinguely Museum’ directly next to the river Rhine.
The International CAMLOG Congress 2008 will provide outstanding opportunities to obtain the latest scientific knowledge first hand, to foster the collegial exchange of experiences and to create new and strengthen existing contacts.
This, combined with discovering the unmistakable Basel flair and unique landmarks of the city in the Swiss/German/French border triangle make visiting the International CAMLOG Congress 2008 a benchmark for the "implantological" year 2008.
