Poster Competition.

The objective of the poster competition is to present to the International CAMLOG Congress 2008 high-quality research, clinical studies, clinical case documentations, and dental laboratory case documentations of practical interest in the field of implant dentistry. The posters should demonstrate research results, clinical procedures, laboratory procedures in visual form using text, graphics, charts, illustrations and photographs.

POSTER CATEGORY / 3 GROUPS

• Scientific Research Topics (S)
• Clinical / Case Documentation Topics (C)
• Dental Laboratory Procedure Topics (DL).

TITLE
Title at top of poster indicating category (S) or (C) or (DL). Capitalize first letter of each word in title.

AUTHOR(S)
List author(s), capitalizing FAMILY NAME, INITIALS. List name of Institution, Department, City and Country. The presenter's name has to be marked with an asterisk (*).

ADDRESS
Mr., Mrs. / Academic Title / First Name / Last Name / Street / ZIP-Code City / Country / Phone / Fax / Email Address.

ABSTRACT
The abstract describes:

• The problem
• Methods and materials or procedures used in the investigation or documentation
• Results and conclusions
  (including summary of statistical data).

POSTER SIZE / POSTER
Width 90 cm (36 inches) Height 128 cm (51 inches). Posters must not exceed this maximum format. Posters MUST be in an upright NOT in a landscape format.

LANGUAGE
English or German.

POSTER REGISTRATION
The posters have to be registered at the Congress "Poster Registration Desk". The posters have to be mounted by the participants with special stickers in their respective category. All participating posters MUST be handed to the congress organization as a PDF file on a CD-ROM. Posters not corresponding to the given format will not be rated by the jury.

PUBLICATION
The participants accept that their poster will be published in a PDF version on the homepage of the camlog foundation.

PRESENTATION
The poster exhibition will be visited during the coffee and lunch breaks of the Congress. The poster exhibition will be open until the end of the Congress.

ADJUDICATION
Judges will review the posters and nominate a 1st prize winner in each category.

PRIZE PRESENTATION
The prizes will be awarded on Saturday, May 10, 2008.

PRIZES
A cash prize of EUR 2,000.– for the first prize will be awarded to the winner of each category.
