Surgery sets

The surgery sets for insertion of CAMLOG® implants are appropriately matched to the implantology skill level – beginner, advanced, and expert. They are intuitively constructed and colour-coded. All drills, thread cutters, insertion instruments and auxiliary parts are laid out in a systematic, easy-to-view arrangement on a sterilisable tray.

The four implant lines of the CAMLOG® implant system are serviced with three different surgery sets. SCREW-LINE and ROOT-LINE implants are supplied with their own surgery sets (SCREW-LINE surgery set or ROOT-LINE surgery set). The insertion of CYLINDER-LINE and SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE implants is performed with a common surgery set.

All surgery sets contain form drills with internal cooling, color-coding, laser marking and removable depth stop features. The drilling sequence is clearly indicated through the systematic layout of the tray. When inserting SCREW-LINE, ROOT-LINE and SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE implants, power-assisted and manual insertion can be chosen. Use the seating instrument to tap CYLINDER-LINE implants into the implant bed.

Osteotomy Sets

Substantial amounts of bone substance are excavated and flushed out during implant site preparation with rotating instruments. Osteotomes reach the bone substance through compression and displacement of area bone. If the bone quality is D3 or D4, they can be applied to the area bone using pressure and twisting or tapping. This condenses the bone substance apically and laterally and increases the primary stability of the implants.

In the CAMLOG® implant system, osteotomy sets are available for the SCREW-LINE, CYLINDER-LINE and SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE. Just as with the surgery sets, a dedicated osteotomy set has been developed for SCREW-LINE and a common osteotomy set for the CYLINDER-LINE/SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE.

CAMLOG® osteotomes are available in straight and angled models. They are color-coded on the handle to match implant diameter. Depth markers and length inscriptions have been placed on the working end to match the implant lengths.

CorticoFix Set

The CorticoFix Set is an innovative osteosynthesis system that provides simple, time-saving handling. It consists of 4 fixation screws (5 of each per set), 4 drills (2 of each per set) and a screwdriver (2 per set). Screws and drills are available in 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 14 mm lengths. The screws are fastened to the ISO shaft with a set break-off point. This means that the screw can be easily removed after insertion. The 4-mm screw thread binds only to the host bone and fastens the bone block securely in place. The smooth screw shaft prevents rotation of the bone block during screw-in. The screws are made of the biocompatible titanium alloy Ti6Al4V and can be easily unscrewed after osteosynthesis with the screwdriver.

ALTApin Set

The practice-oriented ALTApin Set stands out against conventional membrane fixation systems because of its decisive advantages. The high-quality instruments are of innovative design and very impressive in handling. Thus in the case of soft bone, a pricker replaces a drill. A 90° angled applicator also helps achieve optimal placement of the titanium pins in the posterior area. The ALTApin magazine with its 7 titanium pins also offers decisive advantages. This is supplied in double-sterile packaging and is placed directly in the set for use. Unused titanium pins may be left in the set and sterilised. The titanium pins are extremely stable.

Sinus Set

The Sinus Set designed by Dr. A. Kirsch and Dr. K.-L. Ackermann has a wide variety of uses in dental surgery and implantology, for example in the course of sinus floor elevation in the preparation of Schneider’s membrane, in full flap and split flap development, or in augmentation procedures.  The Sinus Set contains nine instruments with working ends on both sides, a tray, and a medical beaker. The working ends are different in angle size and shaped as rasps, elevators, cones, or pears.
