This course builds on basic skills in implant placement and suturing techniques. It teaches dentists to work with some of the more advanced techniques of soft tissue management. This course is intended for dentists who have basic skills in implantology and want to develop higher-level skills directly from an expert.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- cover recessions with rotation flaps and connective tissue grafts
- cover recessions with artificial soft tissue matrix
- use the transplant tunneling technique
- understand the technique of multilayer flaps
- see the advantages of working with magnifying loupes
Theory: Classroom lecture
This module explains in which cases you can use the different advanced techniques of implant placement paired with soft tissue management. This lecture closes with high quality real case documentations.
Hands-on workshop: Pig-jaw and rubber dam exercises
In this module, you can transfer the learned theory into a practical exercise with quality micro surgical instruments and materials as sutures from 6-0, 7-0 and 8-0. You practice micro surgical suturing by vision and not by tactile procedures.
Live surgery: Live surgery with HD video transfer and live comment
In the last module of the course, you will be able to participate in a real-case live surgery. A 2-way communication system allows you to ask questions during the surgery.
