CAMLOG&Science – Chapter 5 CLINICAL STUDIES A WELL DOCUMENTED IMPLANT SYSTEM There is general agreement between clinicians that the scientific documen- tation of an implant system reflects the engagement of a company in research and science.When selecting themost appropriate treatment, long-termclinical data represent a reference in terms of confidence not only for the user but also for the patient. A large number of clinical studies have been performed documenting the CAMLOG ® Implant System with its Promote ® surface in several indications and loading modalities. Results have been published in peer-reviewed journals or presented at congresses. Long-term results with follow-up controls between four and a half years and seven years have been documented in studies with more than 11,000 implants (Tab. 6).
