CAMLOG / CONELOG Osteotomy-Sets SCREW-LINE

OSTEOTOMY SETS CAMLOG ® / CONELOG ® SCREW-LINE The osteotomes are inserted into the bone by pressing and turning or tapping and condense the local bone substance laterally and apically. The ergonomic handles make a very delicate ap- proach possible. The convex or concave work element converts the pressure into the desired result. The prominent scaling and labeling on the work element, similar to the implant lengths (7 / 9 / 11 / 13 / 16 mm), ensure safe depth control during the preparation. The depth indication re- fers to the apical margin of the 0.4 mm wide depth marks. PREPARATION OF THE IMPLANT BED USING THE SCREW-LINE IMPLANT Ø 3.8 MM, LENGTH 13.0 MM WITH OSTEOTOME SCREW-LINE, STRAIGHT CONVEX The osteotomes of the osteotomy sets CAMLOG ® / CONELOG ® SCREW-LINE are used to preserve the bone substance by condensing and displacing the local bone in the soft bone of the maxilla and mandible for bone quality 3 and 4 (Lekholm&Zarb, 1985) to achieve adequate primary stability of the CAMLOG ® or CONELOG ® SCREW-LINE implants. They preserve bone that is removed and rinsed using drills to prepare the implant bed. In certain cases, osteotomes can also be tapped into the sinus area for the greenstick fracture to lift the sinus base. The osteotomy represents an alterna- tive method for implant bed preparation. The osteotomes of the SCREW-LINE may only be used for implantation of CAMLOG ® /CONELOG ® SCREW-LINE implants. The straight and angled instruments make use in the anterior and poste- rior area possible. For easy identification, the handles are color- coded based on the CAMLOG ® and CONELOG ® implant diameter (3.3 / 3.8 / 4.3 / 5.0 / 6.0 mm). Depending on the bone situation, the osteotomes SCREW-LINE are used after using the round bur or pilot drill (Ø 2.0 mm) in increasing diameters. Depending on the location, the straight or angled shape is appropriate. The number of osteotomes used for preparation of the implant bed is deter- mined by the width of the alveolar ridge, the im- plant diameter, as well as the thickness and struc- ture of the cortical bone.
