The bar abutment plateau should be approx. 0.5 mm supragingival. PROSTHETIC SCREWS FOR BAR ABUTMENT, HEX All bar bases are attached with prosthetic screws for bar abutment, hex, to the CAMLOG ® bar abutments. New unused prosthetic screws are used for final insertion. Abutments must be retightened to the same torque after about five min- utes to reach the maximum retaining screw tension.
