The impression is cast with suitable model material. After curing, the tita- nium cap is loosened from the bar lab analog and the impression extracted. TIP: We recommend that you fabricate the cast with a gingival mask. The surrounding gingiva is represented true to the situation, particularly for sub- gingival crown margins and restorations in esthetic areas. An optimal de- sign of the crown contour is easier to achieve.
