The coronally tapered crosscut enables soft-tissue generation during healing. After 3–4 weeks (and before the final organization of the elastic fibers) a CONELOG ® Healing cap cylindrical is screwed in. No tissue should be excised. The tissue is coronally suppressed and thereby forms a papilla-like structure. The impression is taken after stabilization of the peri-implant soft tissue.
