15 CASE STUDY AUTHORS Dr. Jörg-Martin Ruppin Specialist in oral surgery Masur Implant Center Penzberg Bichler Strasse 17 D-82377 Penzberg info@implantatzentrum-penzberg.de Dr. Jörg-Martin Ruppin studied at the Albert-Ludwig University of Freiburg and gained a degree in dentistry in 1998. From 1999 to 2001 he worked as a resident physician in a specialist practice for dental implantology in Freiburg im Breisgau. He gained his doctoral degree in dentistry in 2001. From 2001 to 2007 he trained at the University Hospital of the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to become an oral surgeon. During this time he taught and researched in the specialist field of computer-navigated implantology and three-dimensional imaging. He gave scientific presentations and is the author of publications on computer-aided surgery at home and abroad. He then worked as an oral surgeon in the Practice Clinic for Implantology and Plastic Surgery Dr. Lippold in Munich. Since 2009 he has headed the Implant Center Penzberg Dr. Masur, Dr. Ruppin & Colleagues. Jörg- Martin Ruppin is a member of the societies: German Society for Dental and Oral Medicine (DGZMK), German Society for Implantology (DGI), International Team for Implantology (ITI), SimPlant Academy and is active as an international speaker. Since 1996 he has worked in the laboratory Michael Polz and Stefan Schunke. After several years of further training in the fields of esthetics, function and milling technology, he took the master examination in 2002 as an external student at the Nuremberg Master School. From 2005 he headed the Schunke lab until becoming self-employed in 2010. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Mastercraftsman's Examination Board for the region of Central Franconia, Germany.
