The Camlog anniversary congress on September 13 and 14, 2024 attracted over 800 participants to Motorworld Metzingen. Dr. Axel Kirsch, developer of the CAMLOG® implant system, and long-time Camlog CEO and co-founder Michael Ludwig also came to congratulate the company. The enthusiasm and passion to further optimize implantology and dental technology as well as the Camlog community feeling were clearly noticeable.

ALTATEC GmbH officially inaugurates its extension building at the Wimsheim site. The new building represents a decisive step towards expanding production capacity and strengthening performance. The new building was also awarded the DGNB certificate in gold by the German Sustainable Building Council.

CAMLOG Vertriebs GmbH and Amann Girrbach AG announce their cooperation in the field of implant prosthetics. The new CAM blanks from Camlog were developed for the Ceramill® CAD/CAM system and make it possible to fabricate customized one-piece titanium abutments and gingiva formers with an original implant connection geometry for the CAMLOG®, CONELOG® and iSy® Systems.  

On October 15, 2022, the 7th Camlog Dental Technology Congress was held in Munich, as part of the Oral Reconstruction International Symposium. The focus was on the fascination of implant prosthetics, with its combination of modern technology and exacting craftsmanship. The congress emphasized the team approach in implant dentistry and prosthetics.

Since October 2022, the human bone substitute material MinerOss® A has been added to the biomaterials portfolio. It is characterized by its high regeneration capacity and natural remodeling behavior.      

NovoMatrix™ is an acellular dermal matrix consisting of tissue-engineered porcine material. NovoMatrix™ is a breakthrough in xenogenic processing ensuring a structurally intact, undamaged scaffold.

The outer geometry of the PROGRESSIVE-LINE Implant is consistently designed to achieve high primary stability, even in very soft bone. The implant line is based on the clinically proven and user-friendly inner connections of the CAMLOG® and CONELOG® Implants.  

At the IDS 2019, Camlog and BioHorizons presented their companies for the first time with a joint brand presence "BioHorizons Camlog" and introduced product highlights such as the PROGRESSIVE-LINE and the IntraSpin®, a centrifuge for obtaining L-PRF®.

The festive inauguration of the new Camlog Sales Building in Wimsheim was held at the end of October. The new 5,000 square meter building offers plenty of space for innovative ideas and creates room for numerous jobs in the future.  

On February 9, 2017, CAMLOG Biotechnologies AG and BioHorizons Inc. announced that CAMLOG Vertriebs GmbH will be the exclusive distribution partner for the BioHorizons brand of products in Germany as of April 2017. The addition of the BioHorizons brand of products to the existing Camlog product portfolio creates an integrated platform to meet the needs of all users across the entire spectrum of implant-supported dental solutions.

Under the motto "There is a lot to discover", the CAMLOG trendsetter showcased novelties from all product lines on over 300 square meters, and for the first time also in the field of biomaterials. The highlight was the premiere of the CERALOG® Ceramic Implant System. With over 2,300 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 155,000 international visitors, the IDS broke all records.

The congress took place from 9 - 11 June in Krakow under the motto "Tackling everyday challenges". Over 1,300 delegates from all over the world and 76 internationally renowned speakers and moderators were more than impressed by this exceptional event. The congress unified successful research and practice and addressed tissue stability, treatment planning and Digital Dentistry as key topics.

Camlog presented product innovations and further developments of its CAMLOG® and CONELOG® Implant Systems at a significantly enlarged IDS exhibition stand. The iSy® Implant System, which was launched on the market in 2013, attracted many followers who had been waiting for a cost-effective solution in first-class quality. The design of CAMLOGs tapered ROOT-LINE Implants and the surgical instruments have been extensively revised. Also the portfolio has been expanded by an implant with 3.3 mm diameter so that ROOT-LINE 2 Implants come now in diameters of: 3.3 mm, 3.8 mm, 4.3 mm, 5.0 mm and 6.0 mm. Additionally all ROOT-LINE 2 Implants are finished with the CAMLOG® Promote® plus surface and offer the option for Platform Switching.

The 5th International Camlog Congress was held under the motto "The Ever Evolving World of Implant Dentistry", in Valencia. The Ciudad des las Artes y de las Ciencias offered the perfect location for the congress. 2nd Swiss Dental Technology Congress, Lucerne/Switzerland, under the auspices of CAMLOG Schweiz AG. According to the motto "team@work.2020", current complex issues are presented and discussed from different perspectives. "Tradition and progress" – the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne/Switzerland is the perfect setting.

"Feel the pulse of science in the heart of Switzerland" – 4th International CAMLOG Congress in Lucerne/Switzerland. More than 1,300 participants represent a new record, underscoring CAMLOG's place among international leaders in implant dentistry.

The CONELOG® Implant System is introduced at the IDS. Camlog enlarges its offerings with conical implant-abutment connections. The CAMLOG® Implant System will continue to be developed in the future. CONELOG® Implants have a self-locking inner taper (7.5°) and three implant grooves / three abutment cams.

"From science to innovations and clinical advances" – successful 3rd International Camlog Congress with more than 1,200 participants under the direction of Prof Wilfried Wagner in Stuttgart/Germany. Camlog announces that the group is among the world's leading companies in scientific documentation.

SCREW-LINE Implants have written a success story with their efficiency and safety. Further improvements are presented at the IDS: higher implant shoulder and rounding of the apical geometry. The square cam/groove geometry increases stability and transfer precision.

With establishment of the Spanish subsidiary CAMLOG Med SA in Madrid, CAMLOG Biotechnologies AG reinforces its presence on the Iberian Peninsula.

The SCREW-LINE is launched in five implant diameters and four lengths: patented Tube-in-TubeTM connection with special cams for unique abutment positioning, maximum application safety and reliable long-term stability. SCREW-LINE becomes Camlog's most successful implant line.

ROOT-LINE is launched, Camlog’s third implant line. The CorticoFix set, Sinus set and Osteotomy set are also introduced to the market in this year.

The CAMLOG brand is introduced at the end of the year. Products manufactured by Altatec GmbH have since carried the name of CAMLOG. CYLINDER-LINE and SCREW-CYLINDER-LINE products are first brought to market.

Dr Axel Kirsch assumes ownership of EBERLE Medizintechnik GmbH after years of successful cooperation. The company carries the name Altatec Medizintechnik GmbH & Co. KG since 1995. "ALTATEC" is an invented word composed of the Latin words "altus" (high) and "tec" (technology).

EBERLE Medizintechnik GmbH is founded. The company manufactures dental implants developed by Dr Axel Kirsch, the internationally recognized dentist and oral surgeon in Filderstadt/Germany.
