The COMFOUR® System

The abutment system for occlusal screw-retained restorations

Occlusal screw-retained restorations are state-of-the-art. With the COMFOUR System, edentulous patients are given the option of immediate, comfortable, and fixed dentures based on four or six implants as a rule, with a huge gain in their quality of life.

In addition to occlusal screw-retained crowns and bridges for immediate and delayed restorations, the multi-option system also permits bar restorations on straight and angled bar abutments. COMFOUR offers a range of options to master the challenges faced in routine practice with greater ease and in less time.

Occlusal screw-retained restorations

Next to its versatility, the COMFOUR prosthetic system is particularly impressive thanks to its slim design. All components are of a delicate and low design, which simplifies the prosthetic restorations. In addition, a number of technical highlights ensure that COMFOUR is not simply just a name but also a program – for users and patients alike.

The base for each COMFOUR restoration is provided by the bar abutment in straight or angled design. The bar abutments, which are color coded based on the implant diameters, are available in straight and 17° and 30° angled versions as well as in various gingival heights.

Bridges and bars for the COMFOUR system are available from Camlog in first-class quality from our CAD/CAM service division DEDICAM®. Create your own design and have the restoration fabricated by our DEDICAM manufacturing service.*

COMFOUR – immediate restoration on 4 or 6 implants

COMFOUR screw-retained bridge

The focus of the COMFOUR System is on screw-retained restoration options that can be used immediately on the day of surgery.

Based on the treatment protocol developed by Prof. Paulo Maló, local bone can be used optimally in patients with severely atrophied jaws by inserting the posterior implants at angles of 17° or 30° from dorsal to mesial – without elaborate and costly augmentation measures. The distal emergence of the abutment achieves a sufficiently large loading polygon for a balanced support of the denture.

COMFOUR screw-retained bar

Depending on the individual situation, the bone supply, and the wishes of the patient, customized milled bars or other bar constructions can be realized on the COMFOUR bar abutments.

COMFOUR single-tooth restoration

The COMFOUR Bar abutments for CAMLOG® and CONELOG® Implants can also be used to realize occlusal screw-retained crown constructions. An occlusal screw-retained single crown restoration can be fabricated optionally with a titanium cap for bar abutments, for crowns, or by using a burn-out crown base for bar abutments.
