Short guided implants, a step forward
Implant dentistry is a proven secure way of solving the edentulous dilemma; this therapy has changed the way we face it. Digital dentistry has evolved by the aid of cone-beam computed tomography, computer aided design software, computer aided manufacturing and intra oral scanners, which have had a deep impact in implant dentistry. In addition, the game changer of additive manufacturing technology and 3D printing itself produces a strong blend by working together on what we know of as static- Computer Assisted Implant Surgery ( s-CAIS). This short presentation will highlight the new protocols from implant design and surgical boxes for a stronger, secure, and more precise implant therapy.
